Lyktan Short-term Care Facility - Here you can make a difference when it matters most!

At Lyktan Short-term Care Facility, you meet people in need of security, care, and professional healthcare and social care during different stages of life. We are now looking for assistant nurses who want to help create calm, warmth, and security.

As an assistant nurse at Lyktan, you work with people who are temporarily staying with us, for example after a hospital stay, while waiting for special housing, or during rehabilitation. This means you meet many different individuals with varying needs, making the work varied and stimulating. Lyktan has 15 beds. At Lyktan, 16 assistant nurses/care assistants work during the day and evening shifts.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks you will perform are of varying nature and can include everything from service tasks that facilitate the customer's daily life to delegated health and medical care, such as wound dressings, exercise, and medication management. You support and guide the individual in all daily situations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained assistant nurse
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer skills
• Ability to plan and structure your work efficiently

Merits:

• Experience in short-term care, elderly care, and psychiatry.
• Experience with the Lifecare system

• have a genuine interest in people
• are secure, responsible, and empathetic
• enjoy varied work and can handle both calm and more acute situations independently
• work independently as an assistant nurse

What We Offer

Work every other weekend or less frequently. The positions are day shifts.
